Cost of installation devices and containers COPALUM crimp a house COALR Wired w / aluminum wiring?
We are buying a house built in 1966 with aluminum wiring. I'm looking for an average cost to install COALR containers to points of sale and / or install devices COPALUM crimp. The house is 1920 square feet w / four bedrooms. We have a price quote of $ 1700 to $ 4000 and wanted to know if this is average or if you can do it cheaper. Thank you!
Hi Sarah. Aluminum wiring is very dangerous, and the problem is especially in the endings. I agree with the other to change all the aluminum to copper. But for answer your original question, most contractors will provide you with a unit price if asked, and the cost will largely depend on the number of boxes or joints. Rates vary with location.
