how do to fish shad darts?
I Bought a couple shad shad darts to use for fishing tomarrow, and Can someone please tell me how u fish them
here's what i do: i use six pound test line and a light action rod tie on a single dart (1/8oz i stick with most of the time (never bigger) and throw Sometimes 1 / 16 oz.) with a pigeon tie knot …. or on a dart with a pigeon Then go up the line about a foot to a foot and a half and tie on a second knot using a pigeon. tandem rigs catch more fish and Often doubles. cast it out and let it sink Towards the bottom, Then Slowly reel while jerking or sweeping Either (darting) your rod The Opposite direction of the current When it tightens up do not just sweep the rod September it like you're bass fishing make sure your drag is September strawberries, doubles or you'll break off the big ones or catch and release em em and have fun.
