YMCA Trout Fishing Lodge Q?
Let's go to the YMCA Trout Lodge in Potosi, Missouri, for the 6th consecutive year, won two years ago 2 feet a catfish and carp in the lake from the shore / dock. Last year we got a bull's head under a few feet and 1 foot 4 inches and catfish. That was all. (A right fish a large lake, when you come in, not the trout) So this year I wonder if you know the "hot spots" for fish are usually fish off the wooden pier in the area of the small dam. Therefore, 1) If you know of any access points for fishing for catfish, bass, or any other game fish like to know. 2) I am also curious if anyone knows what kind of fish in the lake? 3) What baits are usually pretty good use of bass and catfish at YMCA Trout Lodge? 4) What works best when bait fishing for trout in the Trout Lakes Lodge? trout can not live in waters where the temperature is above 70 degrees.
